Love/Hate"

I saw a Sneakers advertisement in 2009  on TV. "Love/Hate" was the slogan of the campaign.

Unlike other advertisements focus on the sports stars and their successful stories.

The shoes were introduced in stories of common runners who faced discouragements.

The commercial didn't mention that the actors had overcome discouragements.  It just said they were strggling everyday without giving up. It touched me because I had similar experiments. 

The advertisement seems made a connection between me and the brand. So I 'm attracted by this advertisement.

在2009年,我看到電視上的一個運動鞋廣告. 廣告的標語是 "love/hate".

有別於其他廣到使用運動明星和成功的故事為題材. 這運動鞋廣告以平凡跑者會遇到的挫折為故事. 其內容並未提及廣告中的主角克服了這些難關.只敘述他們不段的努力且不放棄. 因為我有過類似的(運動)經驗,所以對這廣告很有感觸. 看完後似乎覺得我和這品牌間有了連結. 這就是我被這廣告吸引的原因

輸入參數轉譯

For the case “CMYK”, engineUI has to translate the parameters and generate a new string “CMYK”,”C_MYK” or “C__K”...etc. Others cases could use others string combination such as “Model/Support” “Cartridge1/2”…etc.  It is mean that we have to prepare translation/generation functions individually for each case that need parameters.

以"CMYK"的例子來說, engineUI必需解譯(輸入的)參數並產生新的字串例如 CMYK”,”C_MYK” 或 “C__K"...等

而其他的情況(例子)可能會使用不同的字串組合, 例如 “Model/Support"或“Cartridge1/2". 

這意味著每個需要(輸入)參數的例子我們都必須準備(各自)相對應的translation和generation函式

Note: 有些例子不會有輸入參數, 所以就不需要 translation和generation函式

subjective用來表示"主觀"

雖然猜得出來意思是
"當第一集上映前,當時Lucas和其他人都無法感受到如此的活力(如VII上映前的活力)"

但我又一直覺得這句話似乎也可以翻成

"Lucas和其他人都無法感受到和第一集上映前一樣的活力" (意思是第一集上映前也許就受人矚目,但第7集反而不是這麼一回事)

也就是說,其實我是已經知道答案了,才猜出意思,我不確定純粹是前後文的關係,或是文法或字的用法上有什麼地方沒掌握到

rendering

"I have heard up to four announcements playing at once , rendering all of them unintelligible  in a hurricane of noise."

我對這句話大概的理解如下
"我曾經聽過四種廣播同時撥放,這讓廣播的內容像颶風的噪音一樣,完全聽不出來在講什麼"

這句話是否能寫成
"I have heard up to four announcements playing at once , that render all of them unintelligible  in a hurricane of noise."
???

如果可以那我的疑問是,以前我一直認為子句的主詞和主句一樣才能拿掉連接詞,然後把動詞改成動名詞(render =>rendering),可是如果像這句這樣 "render"的主詞因該不是前面的"I",那為何能寫成"rendering all of them xxxx"??

這句話我會寫成
US and Russia hold talks on crowded sky over Syria

主要的疑問在於.
1.為什麼可以寫成"to hold" ? 那這句話動詞在那?還是因為這是標題的寫法?
2."sky"這個字我感覺我很少會用複數來講

KMT moves closer to replacing Hung

"Eric Chu said that the time has come for the party to make a painful, but necessary decision he felt responsible for, and apologized to Hung Hsiu-chu."


#裡面的"he felt responsible for"要怎麼翻譯?
我是先忽略這幾個字,直接翻成"Eric Chu表示現在該做痛苦但必需的決定了,並且像洪秀柱道歉"


#以下這幾話表達的意思一樣嗎?
1.the time has come for the party to make a painful, but necessary decision
2.It is the time to make the painful but necessary decision for the party.
3.It is the time that the party has to make a painful but necessary decision.
