巴士會停那?

前幾天和菲律賓同事討論觀光行程,我原先想問的問題是

"我們從Lipa City這邊出發搭的巴士到Manila後會停在Manila的什麼地方?"

這句話我卡了很久,一直講不太出來

偏偏我們抵達馬尼拉停的車站和從馬尼拉離開回Lipa city的車站是不一樣的,有點像台北有多個轉運站一樣.所以直接講"where is the bus station in Manila." 也讓人無法立即搞懂我到底在問哪個車站.

雖然比手畫腳外加畫圖,他終究搞懂我要問的東西,不過回家後我還是重新想了一下要怎麼問.

1. "Which location the bus from Lipa that we will take will stop at?"
2."Where is the bus station that the Bus from Lipa we take in Manila?"

但這兩句話自己怎麼看怎麼怪....@@
有人有其他建議嗎?

對這段話目前的理解:
"某些名字已成為了神秘事件的代名詞,Amelia Earhart就是一個最出名的例子. 她駕機機延著赤道繞地球一圈的行動吸引了大家的目光,但她的失蹤夠確更加讓人注目."

原句中快結尾的"it"是什麼東西的代名詞?

根據友人的指導,這個"it"因該是指"Her goal of flying around the globe at the equator". 不過我還是有點疑問,因為我覺得"intrigued"在這邊是動詞,而"it"在這邊為何不是動詞的受詞,
例如 "Fairy - tales intrigue most children . 大多數孩子都十分喜愛神話故事"

most children接在intrigue之後


如果這句話把"it"拿掉請我填空,我可能會寫成這樣

所以先這樣看
"A result of the Uruguay Round of world trade negotiations is likely to be a reduction of 36 per cent in the average levels of farm subsidies."

"世貿談判烏拉圭回合可能導致平均36%的農業補貼下降"

而最後的" paid by the rich countries in 1986-1990"則是用來形容這個降低36%後的補貼是1986~1990年間先進國家的補貼水準嗎?

第一次看到這句話時,其實看不太懂.

When it comes to something: 當提到某事時

end up going nowhere: 沒有付諸行動

所以這句話或許可以解釋成
"當提到blessing others, 有些人無法將高尚的計劃計畫付諸行動"

2 "blame for"沒太大的問題, 大概就是 S+V+O, "A責怪B+for 什麼事"
1"be to blame for"就有點疑問了,
如果是我寫一樣的句子,我會寫成
"Are LVG's blamed for ManUni scoring struggles?"
我無法理解那個"to"怎麼來?是放了那個"to"後就有被動的意思了嗎?是否文法上有些單元可以協助解釋?

我的理解:

"Employers talk of resentment among staff "

資方們討論員工的不滿

 "rules allowing all workers to request adaptable hours come into force."

規範將強制允許所有的勞工有彈性工時

但兩段話加上"as"我就一直不知道要怎麼翻譯.

如果是我,可能寫成這樣
But some are hesitant to sell their exclusive items in a store where consumers can pick up batteries, DVD players and tube socks.
